Quantitative Research Consulting
Quantitative Research Consulting
Quantitative research consulting involves specialized support in designing, conducting, and analyzing research that relies on numerical data. We help researchers develop pilot instruments of data collection and/or conduct various types of statistical tests on collected data. Consultants can assist with statistical analyses, data interpretation, and the presentation of results, empowering clients to enhance the quality of their research. By leveraging our knowledge of quantitative methods, academic researchers can efficiently address their research questions and contribute valuable new insights in their respective fields.
We have over 10 years’ experience developing surveys which collect quantitative data, and computing statistical tests, in both public policy and academic settings. We are adept at building surveys in Qualtrics XM, REDCap, Google Surveys, and Microsoft Forms.
We will tailor the survey instrument(s) and/or the statistical tests to your unique research questions, yielding answers that are reliable and pertinent to your specific research context.
In most circumstances, we can adapt to your software needs: our analysts are experienced in R, STATA, SAS, SPSS, Tableau, and Python (Please note that certain types of advanced statistical tests cannot be computed in SPSS). The exact types of statistical tests needed will be contingent upon each client’s unique research needs; however, statistical tests with which we have over a decade of experience include, but are not limited to:
-
ANOVA and MANOVA
-
Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA)
-
Correlations
-
Odds ratios
-
Regression (Curvilinear, linear and log)
-
Structural equation modeling (SEM)
-
Time series data modeling
-
t-tests (Including affect size tests, Cohen’s d and Glass’ delta)
